South Africa Specific Information

In South Africa, we accept:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard)
  • Instant EFT via PayFast

All transactions are processed in South African Rands (ZAR) and include a 2.9% + R1 paymentgate fee and 15% VAT where applicable.

Creating Events

Pricing in South Africa

Our fee structure for event organisers in South Africa:

  • Creating event: No charge
  • Event with tickets sold: R5 payout fee + 5% booking fee x {number of tickets sold} + 2.9% + R1 paymentgate fee x {number of tickets sold}

All fees are exclusive of VAT which will be added at 15%.

Payments & Refunds

South African Payment Processing

For event organisers in South Africa:

  • Payments are processed the Monday after your event
  • Minimum payout amount: R50.00
  • Direct bank transfer (EFT) to South African banks only
  • Payout invoices sent automatically and available upon request on merchant profile.

POPI Act Compliance

Event Bridge complies with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act. We securely store your data in South African data centers and will never share your personal information without your consent.
