General Refund Policy

Event Bridge facilitates ticket sales between event organizers and attendees. Refund policies are primarily determined by the individual event organizer, but we provide the following general guidelines:

Event Merchant Refund Policies

  • No Refunds: Some events may offer no refunds
  • Partial Refunds: Refunds minus processing fees
  • Full Refunds: Complete refund of ticket price
  • Time-Limited Refunds: Refunds available until a specific date

Event Bridge Guaranteed Refunds

Regardless of the event organizer's policy, Event Bridge guarantees refunds in the following situations:

Event Cancellation

Full refund if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled

Significant Schedule Changes

Full refund if event date/time changes by more than 4 hours

Venue Changes

Full refund if venue changes to a location more than 50 miles away

Technical Issues

Full refund if you cannot access your tickets due to our technical problems

How to Request a Refund

  1. Log into your Event Bridge account
  2. Go to "My Tickets"
  3. Select the event and click "Request Refund"
  4. Choose your reason and submit the request
  5. Wait for email confirmation of your refund status

Fees and Charges

When refunds are processed:

  • Event Bridge service fees may be non-refundable in some cases
  • Payment processing fees are typically non-refundable
  • Event organizers may deduct handling fees
  • Full fee refunds apply to Event Bridge guaranteed refund situations

Special Circumstances

Weather-Related Cancellations

For outdoor events cancelled due to weather, refund policies vary by event organizer. Some may offer refunds, others may reschedule.

COVID-19 and Health Emergencies

Events cancelled due to health emergencies or government restrictions are eligible for full refunds.

Transferred Tickets

If you've transferred tickets to someone else, you cannot request a refund. The current ticket holder must request the refund.

Disputes and Appeals

If your refund request is denied and you believe it should be approved:

  1. Contact our support team with additional documentation
  2. Provide evidence supporting your refund claim
  3. Allow up to 14 business days for review
  4. Final decisions will be communicated via email
